About the position
The Assembler position at Eaton's CPDI PDI division involves the timely and accurate assembly of sub-assemblies and assemblies according to customer specifications. Safety is a priority at Eaton, and you will be expected to adhere to all company, environmental, and health safety rules and regulations. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to provide process and safety improvement ideas, ensuring that machines and tools are properly calibrated while performing housekeeping duties using the principles of 5S+. Requirements
• High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution
,
• Ability to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship
,
• Ability to demonstrate working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and safety procedures in a manufacturing facility
,
• Ability to read and interpret standard operating procedures, wiring diagrams, and bills of material
,
• Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 lbs
,
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive lifting, bending, and squatting
,
• Basic working knowledge and experience with computers
