I’m seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented copy editor to help bring my 165-page nonfiction manuscript to the finish line. The book, Leading with Grace: Achieving Work-Life Harmony for Women, explores the many roles women lead in—such as wife, mother, single woman, entrepreneur, and volunteer—and how they can do so with confidence, clarity, and compassion. This is more than a book; it’s a mission to empower and inspire women through well-researched insights, relatable stories, and practical leadership strategies.
The manuscript has already gone through a couple of self-editing phases, so this is the final professional polish before publishing on Amazon in August 2025. It’s approximately 50,000–60,000 words across 12 chapters and is written in a warm, authentic, and empowering tone. I’m looking for someone who can enhance clarity and coherence, maintain consistent voice and tone, and clean up grammar, punctuation, and flow—while respecting my original style. Experience in editing nonfiction, especially books related to women’s leadership, personal development, or empowerment, is a huge plus.
The turnaround time is tight, so I’m looking for someone who can devote focused attention to this project over the next three weeks, with a firm deadline of August 10, 2025.
