Responsibilities
• Lead a team of 4-5 salaried leaders, and up to 50 hourly associates, to deliver outstanding results in Safety, Quality, Customer Experience, Employee Engagement, Leadership Development, and Cost.

• Drive the creation of quality and performance initiatives, process change initiatives and other Lean initiatives to enable your building to meet and exceed business plans.
,
• Set and clarify requirements and expectations for Managers. Measure performance, provide feedback, and hold Managers accountable for their performance and the performance of their department.
,
• Leverage your team by sourcing and nurturing ideas, and rolling them into the creation of improvement plans for the functional area.
,
• Take proactive steps to ensure that standard processes are followed and documented across all departments.
,
• Work closely with support staff (PE, EMR, Finance, Procurement, Safety, IT and other buildings) to build and secure support and resources for projects and initiatives.
,
• Effectively execute to all operations and leadership goals and objectives.
,
• Proactively plan for changes that could impact building performance or customer experience.
,
• Build facility leadership competence in the areas of associate & manager development, critical metric management, conflict resolution, goal setting, and accountability.
,
• Champion eBay DNA principles.
,
• React and respond professionally to all inquiries both internal and external to the building.
,
• Support employee's ability to escalate concerns without retaliation or retribution.
,
• Communicate professionally with employees, leadership and business partners regardless of circumstances.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience or higher from an accredited university. MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
,
• Sustained track record of leading operational improvements at a building level.
,
• Advocate for, and builder of, robust safety, quality and employee engagement cultures.
,
• Champion for diversity and inclusion.
,
• Strong analytical skills and a proven ability to work independently and influence others.
,
• Experience leading Lean Kaizen events and Continuous Improvement activities.
