About the position

Established and growing plaintiff's firm is seeking a high-motivated associate to join their team! This associate attorney will be primarily involved in pre-litigation plaintiff employment cases and will be responsible for intake tasks, following up on document collection, and conducting negotiations. This role does not involve class action cases but will handle individual FEHA and wage & hour cases. The attorney will utilize their skills in Civil Litigation and Employment Law to serve our clients' needs effectively. The position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility while managing a caseload of pre-litigation matters. The firm values professionalism and ethical standards, ensuring that all client interactions are handled with the utmost care and respect. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be adept at managing multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities
• Conduct pre-litigation tasks and intake processes for new clients
,
• Follow up and ensure all required documents are collected in a timely manner
,
• Draft and negotiate various legal documents
,
• Handle individual FEHA and wage & hour cases
,
• Manage case files using Case Management Software
,
• Use skills in Civil Litigation and Employment Law to serve clients' needs
,
• Handle plaintiff or defense cases as required
,
• Resolve client inquiries and maintain accurate client records
,
• Use Document Management and Conveyancer skills to manage and organize case files
,
• Handle complaint handling and consumer electronics related cases when necessary

Requirements
• Must hold a professional law degree (Juris Doctor) from an accredited university
,
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
,
• Proficiency in Case Management Software and Document Management
,
• Knowledge of Conveyancer software is a plus
,
• Experience in Briefing, Civil Litigation, and Complaint Handling
,
• Familiarity with Consumer Electronics and Employment Law - Employee
,
• Proven track record in Pre-Litigation and Litigation - Plaintiff
,
• Must be admitted to the Bar in the state of practice
,
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
,
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
,
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
,
• High level of professionalism and ethical standards
,
• Must possess strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
,
• Must be licensed in CA
