<p><strong>Overview</strong></p>
<p>We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Insurance Assistant to support our team with Auto and Home insurance transactions. The ideal candidate will be familiar with insurance procedures, comfortable working with different carriers, and skilled in providing excellent client support. This role requires bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish), strong phone etiquette, and the ability to manage multiple administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul><li>Assist with Auto Insurance (preferably Florida) and Home Insurance transactions, including new policies, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations.</li><li>Work directly with the insurance companies we partner with, ensuring accurate communication and processing of policy changes.</li><li>Handle client inquiries regarding policies, coverage, deductibles, premiums, and benefits.</li><li>Answer incoming calls in a professional manner, collect necessary information, and provide accurate guidance.</li><li>Follow established procedures when the answer is unknown, including escalating or following up with the appropriate department.</li><li>Maintain accurate client records, documentation, and correspondence.</li><li>Provide administrative support, including processing payments, sending emails, and handling follow-ups with clients and carriers.</li><li>Support insurance agents and adjusters with client intake and claims documentation.</li><li>Deliver excellent customer service in both English and Spanish; additional languages are a strong plus.</li></ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>
<ul><li>Bilingual English &amp; Spanish (required); additional languages highly preferred.</li><li>Experience with Auto Insurance (Florida experience preferred); Home Insurance knowledge is a plus.</li><li>Familiarity with insurance carriers, procedures, and transactions.</li><li>Previous experience in insurance, customer service, or administrative support.</li><li>Strong phone etiquette and ability to handle client calls with professionalism and confidence.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.</li><li>Proficient with office tools, email, and insurance platforms (e.g., EZLynx, NowCerts, Applied, or similar).</li></ul>
