CDL-A Regional Truck Driver – Regional Dry Van

Job Summary:

We’re hiring reliable CDL-A drivers for our East Regional fleet. Drivers will haul preloaded dry van freight across the Midwest and East Coast, running between IA, IL, and OH with occasional routes to GA. Enjoy consistent miles, competitive pay, and flexible home time with drop-and-hook freight.

Job Type:

• Full-Time
• Dedicated Regional – Dry Van

Compensation & Benefits:

• Weekly Pay: $1,300 - $1,400
• Base pay: $0,56 cpm - $0,64 cpm
• Stop Pay: $15 per stop
• Layover & Detention Pay: After 2 hours
• EZ Pass & Pre-Pass Provided

Equipment & Freight:

• Freight Type: 100% dry van - no touch freight
• Freight Handling: Preloaded and drop-and-hook on delivery
• Routes: Primarily between IA, IL, and OH (occasional trips to GA)
• Weekly Mileage: Approximately 2,200 miles
• Trucks: Newer-model trucks (average age 1.5 years)
• Truck Speed: 65 mph (cruise)

Home Time:

• Every two weeks for 2 days home
• Day or night shifts available
• Flexible scheduling

Pet Policy:

• Dogs up to 40 lbs allowed with proof of updated vaccinations
• $300 non-refundable deposit (payroll deduction)

Rider Policy:

• Riders allowed (minimum age: 12 years old during school breaks)

Experience Requirements:

• Open to both trainees and experienced drivers
• No endorsements required

Special Requirements:

• Must be comfortable driving in cold weather
• Must be able to handle variable routes
• Occasional holiday work may be required based on customer demand

Orientation Details:

• Lasts no more than 2 days
• Single-occupancy lodging provided
• Meals and travel (Greyhound reimbursement with receipt) included
• $300 orientation pay upon hire

Driver Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company vehicles and follow DOT regulations
• Ensure on-time deliveries and communicate with dispatch
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment
• Follow route instructions accurately
