We are currently seeking a Vice President to join our Public Institutions (PI) group on a full-time basis in our Washington, DC office. This position will provide management and analytical support for the Department of Defense's (DoD) Military Housing Privatization Initiative (MHPI). The MHPI program is a Large Scale - Public-Private Partnership (P3) Social Infrastructure Program, providing affordable housing to 200,000 service members and their families at active military installations across the United States. JLL provides oversight support to the DoD involving all aspects of real estate including project finance, development, construction, operation, clean energy, and sustainability. In this role, you will advise DoD clients on all aspects of large-scale housing privatization projects, including real estate finance, property management, construction oversight, and legal document review. You will gather and evaluate economic, demographic, and real estate market data, review and analyze legal documents, financial reports, and operating plans as part of the due diligence process, negotiations, and restructures. Additionally, you will provide project management assistance, working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders on issue identification and resolution. You will develop and update briefing materials for stakeholders in the housing privatization program and brief senior leaders from the Military Departments who do not have a financial or technical background. Monitoring project performance and Key Performance Indicators, developing short and long-term cash flow projections, and proposing recommendations to address challenges will also be part of your responsibilities. You will document best practices and lessons learned for the program and produce accurate and well-organized deliverables on schedule.

Responsibilities

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant professional discipline.
,
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in real estate, government contracting, sustainability, clean energy, and/or related fields.

• Prior experience with the MHPI program, P3 oversight, or large-scale affordable housing is preferred.
,
• Federal credit or prior experience with large scale Federal programs is a plus.
,
• United States citizenship (a contractual requirement).
,
• Current DoD Secret clearance, or the ability to secure DoD Secret clearance.

• Strong financial/analytical, strategic thinking, organization, time management, client relationship, and project management skills.
,
• Ability to meet deadlines, demonstrate flexibility, and work in a fast-paced team and changing environment.

Nice-to-haves
• Prior experience with the MHPI program, P3 oversight, or large-scale affordable housing is preferred.
