Job Title: Program Manager- Insurance Transformation
Location: Remote
Job Type: Contract
Required Experience & Skills:
• 10+ years of experience in Program or Portfolio Management for enterprise-level technology initiatives.
• 5+ years leading Guidewire PolicyCenter implementations, preferably in Personal Lines and Commercial Lines.
• Demonstrated success delivering multi-year, cross-functional programs in P&C insurance.
• Hands-on experience with Personal Lines Insurance operations, including policy administration, underwriting, rating engines, forms, and compliance.
• Strong experience managing Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project delivery models.
• Excellent vendor management and third-party coordination experience.
Core Competencies:
• Deep understanding of Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration, integration points, data migration, and lifecycle management.
• Expertise in Personal Lines Insurance domain – product structures, workflows, and state-level regulatory knowledge.
• Strong command of program governance – scope, timelines, risk, budgets, and stakeholder alignment.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams, including business, IT, QA, and vendor resources.
• Highly effective communicator capable of aligning business and IT stakeholders across multiple levels.
• Strong problem-solving skills to manage escalations and proactively mitigate program risks.
• Proficiency in tools like Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet, Confluence, and standard PM tools.
Preferred Certifications:
• PMP (Project Management Professional)
• Scrum Master (CSM/PSM) or SAFe Program Consultant (SPC)
• Guidewire Certification in PolicyCenter (e.g., Configuration or Integration)
