As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in this mission by providing direct patient care and supporting the operational efficiency of our medical practice. You will be part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to improving healthcare delivery and reducing physician burnout. Your responsibilities will include both administrative and clinical tasks, ensuring that patient flow aligns with established Practice Management Guidelines. You will work in a fast-paced, paperless environment, collaborating closely with other Medical Assistants and Medical Receptionists under the supervision of the Practice Operations Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of patient care activities, including rooming patients, taking vital signs, administering injections, conducting urine analyses, performing EKGs, providing wound care, and assisting with ear lavages. You will also handle administrative duties such as answering phone calls, triaging patients, scheduling and confirming appointments, checking in patients, collecting co-pays, and assisting with after-visit instructions. Your ability to communicate effectively and provide compassionate care will be essential in ensuring a positive experience for our patients. Responsibilities
• Provide patient care including rooming patients, taking vitals, injections, urine analysis, EKG, wound care, and ear lavage.

• Support and answer telephone calls and messages, triage patients and administer treatment according to the provider's orders.
,
• Schedule and confirm appointments, check in patients and collect co-pays and payments.
,
• Check out patients and assist with after visit instructions.
,
• Assist with prescription orders, referrals and authorizations.
,
• Remind patients of overdue services such as missed appointments, immunizations, labs, and preventative service.

Requirements
• Graduate of an accredited program for Medical Assistant
,
• 1+ year of Medical Assistant experience within an Outpatient setting, 3+ years preferred
,
• EMR experience - EPIC preferred
,
• Bilingual in Cantonese or Mandarin preferred
,
• Certified Phlebotomy Technician
,
• Knowledge of medical terminology
,
• Computer skills
