EIT Project Manager | 4 Years of Experience | Remote | Chattanooga, TN | Contract
Walker Healthforce is seeking a .EIT Project Manager with 4 years of experience to support a healthcare client based out of Chattanooga, TN. This is a 3 month contract opportunity.
START DATE: ASAP
HOURS/SCHEDULE: M-F; 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
WORKER TYPE: Full-Time W2
CORE REQUIREMENTS:
Education
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Equivalent experience is defined as 4 years of professional work experience in a Healthcare and/or Information Technology (IT) environment.
Experience
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written): Clear, Concise, Accurate
• Experience working with Directors and VPs
• Intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge
• 5–10+ years managing complex projects with: Multiple workstreams (up to 20) and Demanding stakeholders
• 3–5+ years’ experience managing: Software implementation projects, Healthcare projects, Vendor projects, Project budgets (Labor & Non-Labor)
• Self-driven
• Highly organized
• Confident, but not rude or disrespectful
• Quality conscious
• Able to read & understand written instructions, guides, standards and put them into action
• Willing to ask for help
• Able to lead without authority
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Job Profile Summary
• Support the ePMO by completing work assignments and deliverables, keeping to quality standards and prescribed timeframes.
Job Responsibilities
• Complete assigned tasks
• Assist with and track proposal/project activities and progress, which may include information gathering and preparing project documentation
• Maintain project documentation and update ePMO tools
• Facilitate meeting setup, take meeting minutes, and perform basic follow-up
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to identify and solution opportunities
• Provide support in monitoring projects, identifying risks, and forming mitigation strategies
