A company is looking for a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for the Patient Engagement Center.
Key Responsibilities
• Collect medical histories, monitor vital signs, and prepare patients for exams and procedures
• Assist with administrative tasks including scheduling appointments, managing medical records, and handling billing tasks
• Provide telephonic assistance for patient needs, ensuring compassionate communication and support
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program is strongly preferred; high school or GED graduation is required
• Certification by AAMA, AMT, NHA-CCMA, NCMA, or ARMA is required
• BLS certification is required
• Experience requirements vary by level: Level I - no experience; Level II - at least 1 year; Level III - at least 3 years of clinical experience
• Must meet all requirements set forth in the Medical Assistant, Certified (CMA/RMA) Ladder Program document for Levels II and III Apply tot his job
