About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Property Management Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of a property management company overseeing 102 rental properties. You’ll play a key role in reducing the client's administrative burden while ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all property-related transactions.
Key Responsibilities
• Draft and send landlord rental statements
• Process rent payments using the client’s property management software
• Manage landlord payments and internal commission allocation
• Enter and manage contractor invoices
• Assist with tenant referencing and lease creation using templates
• Coordinate and organize property repairs with tenants and contractors
• Manage deposit tracking and related administrative tasks
• Provide ongoing administrative support related to property management
• Perform daily bank reconciliation reports (screenshot ledger and send updates)
Preferred Candidate Traits
• Personable and efficient
• Comfortable with repetitive administrative tasks
• Able to think outside the box and take initiative
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with financial transactions
Requirements
• Experience in administrative or property management support roles
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong organizational and multitasking ability
• Basic understanding of UK property management practices is preferred
• Proficiency in property management software or ability to quickly learn new systems
• High level of tech-savviness and ability to adapt to different platforms
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate proactive thinking
• Flexibility to work some weekends if required for time-sensitive tasks
