Job Details:
Schedule: Monday–Friday, flexible hours with required core availability from 10AM–2PM PST
Duration: 3-month contract (with strong potential for extension or FTE conversion)

Job Responsibilities:
• Support the migration of enterprise reporting from on-prem SQL Server to Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Lake environments
• Develop, maintain, and optimize Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models using DAX, Power Query M, and Power Automate
• Reverse-engineer legacy ETL/reporting pipelines and modernize them for cloud-based delivery
• Assist with the creation and maintenance of Fabric Dataflows, Pipelines, and semantic models
• Collaborate with a lean BI team to deliver timely insights, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data governance and performance
• Provide technical guidance and support for internal reporting workflows and downstream consumers
• Analyze structured schema modules and build scalable, reusable reporting solutions aligned to business needs
• 5+ years of experience in BI/reporting roles with a strong backend focus
• Expertise in Power BI, including:
• Power Query M
• DAX
• Power Automate
• Proficient in SQL and experienced in ETL workflows (SSIS, ADF, Dataflows Gen2, etc.)
• Familiarity or working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric (including Warehouse, Lakehouse, OneLake concepts)
• Experience with data warehouse and data lake environments

• Azure Data Lake, Synapse, and Snowflake experience
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and ability to work independently
