At Hitachi Energy, we’re looking for a passionate and innovative <b>Applications Engineer</b> to join our <b>Transformer Components</b> team in<b> Alamo, TN</b>. </span></span><span><span>You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, engage with customers, and drive solutions that make a real impact.</span> Engaging directly with customers, via calls or on-site visits, to deliver tailored technical presentations, prepare informational materials, and provide comprehensive support aimed at identifying and implementing effective business solutions. </span><span>This role requires deep knowledge of&nbsp;</span><b>On-Load Tap Changers (OLTCs)</b><span>&nbsp;</span><span>and</span><span>&nbsp;</span><b>Bushings</b><span>&nbsp;</span><span>are considered complex and critical components:</span></p><ul><li><p><b>OLTCs</b>: Regulate transformer output voltage under load by switching taps without interrupting service. They involve intricate mechanical and electrical systems and are essential for maintaining voltage stability.</p></li><li><p><b>Bushings</b>: Provide insulated pathways for electrical conductors to pass through grounded transformer enclosures.
