Responsibilities
• Receive and respond to calls for the assigned Hospice service area.

• Prioritize various patient care situations and provide information, education, and support to patients' families via phone.

• Assign on-call RN or other appropriate disciplines for in-person patient visits when necessary.
Requirements
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure within a NLC Compact State.

• Three (3) years of clinical experience.
,
• Minimum of two (2) years' experience in oncology, long-term care, hospice, or home health.

• Prior experience with telephone triage.

• Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Outlook.
