About the position
The Creative and Marketing Supervisor (Transit Supervisor) at King County Metro is responsible for enhancing public transportation's appeal to prospective riders, improving the experience for existing riders, and leading the creative and marketing teams. This role involves developing research-informed strategies, managing budgets, and ensuring effective communication and marketing campaigns to promote Metro's services across a diverse community.
Responsibilities
• Propose, refine, and implement research-informed strategies to increase affinity for Metro among current and prospective riders.

• Develop and update an annual calendar of campaigns, channels, and results reporting in coordination with direct reports and colleagues.
,
• Prioritize projects and select appropriate investments of financial resources, staff time, and vendor contracts.
,
• Serve as direct manager to Metro's Creative Team Lead, Marketing Team Lead, Program/Project Manager, Social Media Specialist, and Translation Coordinator.
,
• Provide counsel and assistance to other Metro work groups to meet their creative and marketing needs.
,
• Identify, select, and contract with consultants for Metro communications, marketing, and promotional campaigns.
,
• Propose and revise budget plans, and track expenses and funding sources.
Requirements
• Minimum of ten years of experience developing and leading high-profile advertising, communications, and marketing campaigns.

• Minimum of three years of leadership and management experience.
,
• Effective in-person and written communication skills for interactions with colleagues, customers, and partners.
,
• Expertise in creating, updating, and tracking detailed communications plans and corresponding budgets.
,
• Experience in reaching and marketing to diverse, multi-lingual audiences.
,
• Experience leveraging research to design creative and marketing strategies.
