Description:
We're looking for a creative, self-driven Video Editor who specialises in short-form video content and can transform raw footage into polished, post-ready content utilising provided content prompts, specifically Instagram Reels and TikTok-style videos.
You’ll be responsible for editing 3 trial reels with ongoing work per week (each 45–60 seconds long) that are smooth, engaging, and visually appealing. Content footage will be provided. Your job is to bring it to life with transitions, pacing, and edits that keep viewers watching.
This role is ideal for someone who:
✔️ Is confident working independently
✔️ Has a strong eye for storytelling, rhythm, and visual style
✔️ Can turn around reels efficiently with minimal supervision
✔️ Understands what performs well on Instagram (bonus if you know trends!)
What We’re Looking For:
• Reels that feel natural and on-trend, not overly templated or stiff
• Smooth transitions and attention to flow
• Strong sense of what makes a scroll-stopping opening
• Ability to work with voiceovers, talking clips, product shots, and simple text overlay
• Creation of cover image with hook to stop the scroll
Bonus Points If You Have Experience In:
• Pet-related brands or lifestyle content
• Matching content to brand tone and style
• Using trending audio or creating on-brand original edits
