Core Network Engineer

<b>Description</b><br><p>As part of Webbing Core Network Team, you will be responsible for Mobile Core network support, functionality and development at the cutting edge of technologies. This is a great opportunity to demonstrate technical and organizational ability, working in a small team under Webbing Network Engineering Department</p><ul><li>Self-motivated and able to maintain focus in a pressured environment</li><li>Perform proactive monitoring of network elements’ KPI/ alarms and network performance analysis</li><li>Perform service/system testing, data collection, and optimization as required</li><li>Handle and analyze trouble tickets and provide solutions when necessary</li><li>Create and maintain network system documentation</li><li>Operational task and requests handling</li><li>Participate in knowledge transfer to NOC engineers</li><li>Provide on-call 24 x 7 support on a rotating basis</li></ul><br> <b>Requirements</b><br><ul><li>Complete familiarity with MNO/MVNO structure and flows, for Voice, SMS and Data scenarios</li><li>Experience in analyzing network flows using raw data (traces/PCAP/etc.)</li><li>Deep understanding of various protocols: MAP, Diameter, GTP, SIP, RTP, SMPP</li><li>Deep understanding of 3G, 4G and VoLTE networks</li><li>Ability to design, scale and integrate a network element into a live network</li><li>Hands-on experience in integration between network elements (SCTP, SIP trunk, SMPP connection)</li><li>Roaming and SPR solutions understanding</li><li>Understanding of 3GPP standards and GSMA guidelines and knowing to analyze based on it</li><li>At least 5 years of practical experience as a core engineer</li><li>Willingness to occasional travel is required.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Knowledge of IP switching and routing protocol - an advantage</li><li class="ql-align-justify">&nbsp;Knowledge of Linux system administration and cloud technologies (AWS, VMware) - an advantage</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Familiarity with scripting specifications and profiling automated tools - an advantage</li></ul><p><br></p><br> <b>About Webbing</b><br><p>Founded in early 2010, Webbing is a global data MVNO that delivers enterprise grade, global connectivity and IoT services across more than 200 countries and 600+ mobile carriers' networks.
