A boutique litigation practice with offices in Oregon and Washington is expanding and seeking a Litigation Attorney to join their firm. This position offers the flexibility to handle a variety of cases or specialize in an area of interest, including personal injury, wrongful death, premise liability, construction defect, professional liability, and more. As a Litigation Attorney, you will represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, arbitrations, and mediations. You will conduct discovery, which includes taking and defending depositions, interviewing witnesses, and the collection, review, and production of documents. Drafting and reviewing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests and responses will be a significant part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will conduct legal research to support cases or determine legal opinions, negotiate settlements on behalf of clients, and provide legal advice to clients, preparing them for what to expect and guiding them through legal processes. Responsibilities
• Representing clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, arbitrations, and mediations.

• Conducting discovery, including taking and defending depositions, interviewing witnesses, and collection, review, and production of documents.

• Drafting and reviewing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, etc.

• Conducting legal research to support a case or determine a legal opinion.

• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients, aiming for the most beneficial outcome possible.

• Provide legal advice to clients, preparing them for what to expect and guiding them through legal processes.

Requirements
• A minimum of 2 years of civil litigation experience.

• Exceptional writing skills with the ability to provide samples/credentials supporting this competence.

• Proficiency in leveraging technology to maximize efficiency.
,
• Admission to the State Bar of Washington and/or Oregon is required.
,
• Admission to Idaho State Bar would be a plus.
