The BCBA will plan, develop, and monitor treatment and provide consultative services rooted in evidence-based practices. <li style="box-sizing: border-box;"><span style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 12pt; font-family: georgia, palatino;">Function in a supervisory capacity and provide clinical oversight and supervision to all areas of programming including the training of Registered Behavior Technicians and Behavioral Health Technicians.</span></li>
<li style="box-sizing: border-box;"><span style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 12pt; font-family: georgia, palatino;">Assist in the development, facilitation, and training in ABA, using both discrete trial training and natural environment training models of teaching.</span></li>
<li style="box-sizing: border-box;"><span style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 12pt; font-family: georgia, palatino;">Provide ABA based training to caregivers and support generalization of skills learned in the clinic setting.&nbsp; This may include providing training in the home, school, and community from time to time.</span></li>
<li style="box-sizing: border-box;"><span style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 12pt; font-family: georgia, palatino;">Coaches team members on how to develop proactive, strength-based, family centered, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment plans, Functional Behavior Assessments, and Behavior Support Plans for children and families receiving services.</span></li>
<li style="box-sizing: border-box;"><span style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 12pt; font-family: georgia, palatino;">Create ongoing data collection system to establish baseline and programmatic efficacy for all consumers, and to analyze data on a frequent and ongoing basis to guide programming.</span></li>
<li style="box-sizing: border-box;"><span style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 12pt; font-family: georgia, palatino;">Conducts norm-referenced and criterion-reference assessments (Vineland, VB-MAPP, PEAK, AFLS, etc.).</span></li>
<li style="box-sizing: border-box;"><span style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 12pt; font-family: georgia, palatino;">Meet as needed and/or required with supervised staff to discuss ongoing consumer issues and to provide support when necessary.</span></li>
<li style="box-sizing: border-box;"><span style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 12pt; font-family: georgia, palatino;">Review and sign off on treatment plans and behavior support plans written by Behavior Analysis Trainees.</span></li>
<li style="box-sizing: border-box;"><span style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 12pt; font-family: georgia, palatino;">Sets discharge criteria for service and supports a generalization plan.</span></li>
<li style="box-sizing: border-box;"><span style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 12pt; font-family: georgia, palatino;">Serve as a liaison to the families of the clients and provide frequent check-ins to ensure their satisfaction with the quality of services being provided.</span></li>
<li style="box-sizing: border-box;"><span style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 12pt; font-family: georgia, palatino;">Completes progress notes using the appropriate codes in Electronic Health Record (EHR) within 24 hours of service.</span></li>
<li style="box-sizing: border-box;"><span style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 12pt; font-family: georgia, palatino;">Provides consultation to members of the Child and Family Team (CFT) regarding behavior intervention strategies.</span></li>
<li style="box-sizing: border-box;"><span style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 12pt; font-family: georgia, palatino;">Trains CFT how to implement teaching strategies.</span></li>
<li style="box-sizing: border-box;"><span style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 12pt; font-family: georgia, palatino;">Provides mentoring, coaching and supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians.</span></li>
<li style="box-sizing: border-box;"><span style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 12pt; font-family: georgia, palatino;">Assists in the development of supervision protocols in line with the standards set forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.</span></li>
<li style="box-sizing: border-box;"><span style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 12pt; font-family: georgia, palatino;">Keep current with the literature, new research findings and resources. In addition, continuing education courses to maintain BCBA certification are necessary.</span></li>
