We also offer company-provided short-term disability, an employee assistance program, and a wellness program.</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p><b>Position Overview:</b></p><p>The<b> Bilingual </b><b>Loan Processor</b> supports the Salem, NH office of CrossCountry Mortgage Loan Officers and employees by assisting in meeting goals, providing superior customer service, presenting a professional image, and maintaining excellent communication between the Underwriting and Sales Departments. The Bilingual Loan Processor provides an exceptional experience for all customers.</p><p></p><p>This position operates within <b>Eastern Standard Time Zone</b> working hours to support the East Coast region.</p><p></p><p><b>Job Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Offer the highest level of customer service to CCM customers, Loan Officers, Underwriters, Title Companies, Attorneys, and Realtors.</li><li>Review, prepare, and submit customer applications to the Underwriting team promptly and efficiently.</li><li>Communicate with customers to gather any missing source documentation required for the loan program.</li><li>Submit applications through automated underwriting systems (i.e., DU, LP, GUS).</li><li>Prepare loan files by ordering flood certificates and other necessary verifications, securing verbal verifications of employment (VOEs), recording required contacts (e.g., closing agents, realtors, licensees), reviewing disclosures to collect any missing documents, verifying property addresses on the USPS website and uploading them, and requesting condo questionnaires.</li><li>Request appraisal/title updates, as needed.</li><li>Upload documents into loan files and provide copies for borrowers upon request.</li><li>Request final loan verifications, including insurance binders and final verbal verifications of employment, to prepare files for closing.</li><li>Provide courteous and professional assistance to all customers, whether in person, by phone, or through digital channels.</li><li>Represent CrossCountry Mortgage professionally in all interactions, whether in the office or at an event; dress in accordance with company standards and the context of the engagement.</li><li>Perform additional duties as assigned.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">Qualifications and</span> Skills:</b></p><ul><li><span>Fluency in the languages of Spanish and English in order to communicate effectively with internal and external customers, of whom may speak only English or Spanish. </span></li><li>High School Diploma or equivalent.</li><li>5 + years of experience in a similar administrative role.</li><li>Experience collaborating professionally with senior management to drive initiatives.</li><li>Experience handling confidential information with discretion and strict adherence to privacy regulations.</li><li>Experience exercising independent judgment.</li><li>Experience requesting assistance as needed to ensure accuracy and efficiency.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a results-driven mindset.</li><li>Skilled in customer service, adept at promptly addressing and resolving customer issues and concerns to ensure a high level of satisfaction.</li><li>Skilled in taking personal responsibility, solving problems, and independently driving tasks and projects to completion with minimal supervision.</li><li>Proficient in managing concurrent tasks.</li><li>Excellent communication skills.</li><li>Proficient in utilizing Encompass.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook).</li></ul><p></p><p><span>This job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the job and the general nature and level of work performed by job holders within this job.
