This freelance position allows you to work remotely while contributing to the development of engaging and challenging math problems for middle and high school students. As an item writer, you will collaborate closely with curriculum designers to create problems that not only meet specific educational objectives but also inspire and challenge students. Your role will involve writing a variety of math problems, including word problems, and ensuring that they are age-appropriate and mathematically precise. You will also be responsible for developing clear explanations that accompany the problems, helping students understand the concepts being tested. In this role, you will be expected to adhere to project deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality in your writing. You will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and expertise in mathematics, making a significant impact on students' learning experiences. Responsibilities

Requirements
• BA/BS degree in mathematics or mathematics education; currently enrolled students are welcome to apply.

• Strong knowledge of math curriculum through high school geometry is required.

• Prior math item writing experience is preferred.
