<p><strong>Position Summary:</strong></p><p>The Director of Compliance is responsible for developing, implementing, and leading Dentive’s compliance strategies across all supported practices and corporate functions. This role ensures alignment with federal and state regulatory requirements, safeguards operational integrity, and cultivates a strong culture of compliance throughout the organization. This is an important leadership role, that chairs the compliance committee for the company and ensures a culture of compliance. </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>Regulatory Program Oversight</p><p>Lead Dentive’s compliance program across a wide range of regulatory domains, including:</p><ul><li>HIPAA Privacy &amp; Security</li><li>OSHA/Infection Control</li><li>Medicaid &amp; Medicare Compliance</li><li>State Radiation Requirements</li><li>DEA and Controlled Substance/Safe Prescribing Practices</li><li>State Dental Board Rules</li><li>Anesthesia and Sedation Safety</li><li>Medical Emergency Preparedness</li><li>Clinical and Administrative Audits</li><li>Patient Record Requests</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Quarterly Chart Auditing</strong></p><ul><li>Manage Dentive’s relationship with the quarterly audit vendor, including scope definition, scheduling, and coordination across practices</li><li>Review and track audit findings; oversee follow-up and resolution processes</li><li>Analyze audit trends to identify opportunities for system-wide improvements</li><li>Ensure audit outcomes inform ongoing training, compliance priorities, and policy refinement</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Acquisition Due Diligence</strong></p><ul><li>Conduct compliance audits for pending acquisitions to evaluate regulatory risk and readiness</li><li>Support integration efforts to ensure acquired practices align with Dentive’s compliance framework</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Program Management</strong></p><ul><li>Lead the implementation and oversight of compliance programs at both the corporate and practice level</li><li>Identify and close compliance gaps through quarterly audits, annual assessments, and cross-functional collaboration</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Policy &amp; Procedure Management</strong></p><ul><li>Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing review of organizational compliance policies and procedures</li><li>Ensure documentation remains current, accessible, and aligned with applicable laws and best practices</li><li>Training &amp; Education</li><li>Oversee Dentive’s annual compliance training program to ensure all team members meet required regulatory education standards</li><li>Deliver targeted training for individuals in compliance-sensitive roles</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Compliance Committee</strong></p><p>Prepare reports and facilitate quarterly Compliance Committee meetings to share updates, review audit outcomes, and guide strategic compliance initiatives</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Culture of Compliance</strong></p><ul><li>Promote a culture of accountability, integrity, and collaboration across the organization</li><li>Act as a trusted compliance advisor to executive leadership and operational team members, fostering open communication and continuous improvement</li></ul><p></p>
