Our Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Compliance Analyst will be an integral part of our Compliance Team, reporting to the AML Compliance Manager.  The AML Compliance Analyst will review high-risk accounts, transactions, and incident reports escalated to Compliance by various business lines for consideration of Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) filings. As an AML Compliance Analyst, you will be responsible for:<ul><li>Reviewing escalated alerts, cases, and customer activity from the first line to determine whether further escalation is warranted.</li><li>Performing detailed reviews of high-risk custom accounts.</li><li>Conducting research using internal systems and open-source tools to understand behavior and assess risk.</li><li>Ensuring reviews are documented clearly and accurately with appropriate rationale supporting the decision to close or escalate the case.</li><li>Managing a queue of alerts and cases.</li><li>Identifying potential gaps in documentation, due diligence, or risk mitigation measures and escalating findings when necessary.</li><li>Collaborating with the first line and investigations team when necessary.</li><li>Any other job-related duties as assigned.</li></ul> What are we looking for?<ul><li>Superior written and verbal communication skills. This position places a premium on the ability to prepare thorough, concise, well organized, professional written products for external stakeholders.</li><li>The role is best suited for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment with a passion for the AML/BSA, sports, and casino gaming industries.</li><li>Make informed decisions on detailed analysis and findings.</li></ul> Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.</li><li>At least 2 years of AML/BSA experience in the Casino, Fintech, or Banking industries.</li><li>Strong investigative skills, sound judgement, and the ability to review and interpret financial data and activity, in order to make accurate decisions and provide sound recommendations based on available evidence.</li><li>Analytical skill set, with the ability to communicate effectively.</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills.</li><li>Strong understanding of BSA/AML Regulatory requirements, the three lines of defense model, and industry best practices.</li><li>The ability to adapt to changing priorities and to thrive in a fast-paced work environment</li><li>Previous experience in customer verification, customer due diligence, and enhanced due diligence would be preferred.</li><li>Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.</li></ul> What’s in it for you?We offer our employees more than just competitive compensation.
