8056 - Sourcing Engineer Sr

With a presence in over 30 countries and a strong expertise in innovation and technology consulting, ALTEN has been a leading force in the engineering and IT sectors for over 30 years.</p><p>As a Senior Sourcing Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing sourcing strategies that align with our business objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and quality, to ensure that the procurement process meets quality standards, cost targets, and delivery schedules.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul> <li>Transfer specific activities, such as workflow initiation, legal checklist, P2P, supplier tech review, supplier transitions, SPMC, TLC analysis, etc</li> <li>RFQs (data collections &amp; package creation)</li> <li>Business Case Development &amp; Execution</li> <li>Support PIP btw. materials team and supplier</li> <li>Supplier outreach, selection &amp; follow up</li> <li>Strategy alignment with cross functional business partners</li> <li>Analyze cost structures, tariff impacts, total landed cost impact/savings &amp; supplier capabilities to support decision making</li> <li>Maintain sourcing documentation and reporting in partnership with the PMO office</li> <li>Ensure compliance with regulatory, trade &amp; internal sourcing requirements</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.</li> <li>5+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management roles.</li> <li>Ability to learn GE Healthcare systems and tools (Oracle, MWS, Smartsheet, BI, Spotfire, etc)</li> <li>Prior sourcing experience</li> <li>Data management, Excel, &amp; Power BI experience</li> <li>Supplier relationship management</li> <li>Project Management, especially tracking milestones &amp; deliverables</li> <li>Able to clearly calculate and articulate total landed cost and savings/transfer impact.</li> <li>Experience in medtech/lifescience industry is a plus.</li> <li>Experience in mechanical and electronics commodities is a plus</li> <li>Experience with ERP systems is valuable for sourcing and quality</li> <li><em><strong>Advance english is required (No negotiable)</strong></em></li> </ul><p></p><p></p><p>Join ALTEN MÉXICO today and be part of a team that values innovation, excellence, and continuous improvement!</p><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p></p><ul><ul> <li>Competitive salary</li> <li>Above-law benefits </li> <li>Career growth and development plan</li> <li>Remote work scheme</li> <li>Support for home office setup </li> </ul></ul>
