About the position

As a Product Management Consultant IV specializing in Medical Device Integration, you will play a pivotal role in managing the product lifecycle of our Medical Device Integration product portfolio. This includes the design, development, and implementation of software solutions that address complex business challenges while providing technical expertise within the IT department. The position requires a collaborative approach, engaging actively in the development process and working closely with various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of medical devices and their applications, IT processes and standards, clinical workflows, and integration methodologies. Key skills include vendor management, emotional intelligence, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to lead by influence. This role is an excellent opportunity for professionals with a robust background in architectural solution design and software development, complemented by exceptional interpersonal skills. In this senior individual contributor role, you will be responsible for defining the product strategy and vision, developing product roadmaps from ideation to launch, and making critical decisions regarding new products or enhancements to be introduced to the market. Your responsibilities will include developing product enhancements based on validated learnings, facilitating product teams, and collaborating with operations teams and market stakeholders to ensure successful product adoption. You will also conduct internal and external discovery for new and existing products, validate solutions with end users, and funnel insights into product roadmaps while tracking outcomes and key performance indicators. Partnering with product team members to address user problems will be a key aspect of your role, ensuring a balanced approach to the work backlog that includes new development, non-functional requirements, and technical work.

Responsibilities
• Define product strategy and vision, developing product roadmaps from ideation to launch.

• Make decisions on new products or enhancements to bring to market.

• Develop product enhancements based on validated learnings.

• Facilitate product teams and diverse stakeholder groups throughout the product management lifecycle.

• Collaborate with operations teams and market stakeholders to support product adoption.

• Perform internal and external discovery for new and existing products.

• Track outcomes and key performance indicators, defining and tracking KPIs and performance metrics.

• Partner with product team members to solve user problems by prioritizing the work backlog.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems Management, Data Analytics, Engineering, Social Science, or related field.

• Minimum five (5) years experience in product management, project management, IT consulting, product development or support, business/system analysis, or a directly related field.

• Minimum two (2) years experience working with agile teams, including familiarity with scrum ceremonies and agile best practices.
,
• Minimum one (1) year experience in a leadership role with or without direct reports.

Nice-to-haves
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems Management, Data Analytics, Engineering, Social Science, or related field.
