<p>Job Summary</p><p>We’re seeking a Business Operations Finance Manager to join our growing finance team. Reporting to the Director of Finance, this role supports day-to-day accounting operations while driving improvements in financial data accuracy, reporting, and process efficiency. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working cross-functionally with engineering and data teams to ensure clean, scalable data flows that support revenue recognition and decision-making in a fast-paced, multi-vendor marketplace.</p><p></p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul> <li>Support monthly close under GAAP, ensuring accuracy of marketplace and e-commerce transaction reporting</li> <li>Partner with external accountants on reconciliations, audit support, and tax compliance</li> <li>Assist with revenue recognition, including timing of acceptance-based revenue and breakage accounting</li> <li>Work closely with engineering and data teams to improve data pipelines feeding financial systems</li> <li>Build, automate, and maintain reporting dashboards in Tableau, ensuring leadership has accurate real-time metrics</li> <li>Manage expense accruals, vendor payables, and customer deposit reconciliations</li> <li>Contribute to financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow tracking</li> <li>Identify and recommend process improvements to scale accounting and reporting operations</li> <li>Prepare reporting packages for leadership and external stakeholders</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p>Requirements</p><ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or related field</li> <li>4–8 years of experience in finance or accounting within a high-growth or transaction-heavy business</li> <li>Strong analytical skills and advanced proficiency in Excel and Tableau</li> <li>Understanding of GAAP and revenue recognition principles, ideally in a marketplace or e-commerce setting</li> <li>Comfortable working with large data sets, systems integrations, and cross-functional projects with engineering teams</li> <li>Organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment</li> <li>Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex data into actionable insights</li> </ul><p></p><p>Nice-to-Haves</p><ul> <li>Experience in a multi-vendor marketplace or e-commerce business model</li> <li>Exposure to stored value, payment processing flows, and sales tax</li> <li>CPA or CPA-track qualification</li> </ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul> <li>Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)</li> <li>Retirement Plan (401k)</li> <li>Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays)</li> <li>Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity)</li> <li>Short Term & Long Term Disability</li> <li>Fully remote with annual company offsite.
