<p>Waking Up is looking for a Creative Marketing Manager to bring our content and product to life across channels through thoughtful, high-quality execution. This role is for someone who thrives on making things, getting things done, and collaborating across teams to craft marketing moments that resonate.</p><p>You’ll play a central role in telling the story of Waking Up - from new content launches and teacher conversations to product features and seasonal campaigns. This role is ideal for a strong executor with creative instincts, project management skills, and a deep appreciation for clarity and good storytelling.</p><p></p><p>🎬 Video Production & Visual Creative</p><ul> <li>Own and lead the creation of marketing videos, including UGC-style clips, trailers, testimonials, explainers, and evergreen brand assets - guiding contributors, shaping scripts, and overseeing delivery.</li> <li>Coordinate shoots, interviews, or testimonials with internal team members, teachers, and external contributors.</li> <li>Collaborate with internal designers, editors, and agency partners to bring campaigns to life visually and narratively.</li> <li>Manage video post-production with internal tools or external editors - ensuring all final outputs are brand-aligned and platform-optimized.</li> </ul><p>✍️ Copywriting & Messaging</p><ul> <li>Write clear, compelling copy across touch-points: emails, landing pages, social captions, push notifications, ads, and scripts.</li> <li>Maintain and evolve Waking Up’s brand voice & tone across formats, balancing clarity with depth.</li> <li>Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex or philosophical ideas into accessible, resonant messages.</li> </ul><p>📱 Social Media & Content Distribution</p><ul> <li>Own day-to-day management of social channels (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube).</li> <li>Manage Waking Up’s social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube), focusing on visual and video-forward content.</li> <li>Plan and publish content that aligns with what’s happening in the app, the world, and the company.</li> <li>Monitor trends, respond to cultural moments, and adapt our social presence to expand reach while remaining brand-aligned.</li> </ul><p>📦 Campaign Execution & Project Management</p><ul> <li>Work cross-functionally to support launches, from creative briefs to live assets.</li> <li>Manage timelines and keep collaborators aligned - ensuring content goes out the door on time and at a high standard.</li> <li>Coordinate agency work streams, give actionable feedback, and ensure quality control on all creative outputs.</li> </ul><p>📊 Performance & Optimization</p><ul> <li>Track content performance and engagement across formats.</li> <li>Share learnings and help improve what we make and how we tell stories based on results.</li> <li>Evolve our formats, style, and storytelling based on what performs.</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p>What You’ll Bring</p><ul> <li>4+ years in content marketing, creative production, or brand storytelling roles.</li> <li>Experience managing creative projects and working cross-functionally.</li> <li>Comfort with video as a medium - whether writing scripts, producing UGC, or guiding post-production.</li> <li>Exceptional writing skills and a proven ability to craft messaging that is clear, human, and voice-consistent.</li> <li>Familiarity with digital marketing channels, especially lifecycle, paid social, and organic social.</li> <li>Strong creative instincts and a collaborative spirit.
