About the position

The Senior UX Researcher at Korn Ferry will lead user research initiatives for core products within the Organizational Strategy unit. This role focuses on driving product innovation through strategic and tactical research activities, ensuring that user insights are integrated into the product development lifecycle. The researcher will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, mentor junior staff, and advocate for a human-centered design approach to enhance user experience and product outcomes.

Responsibilities
• Lead strategic and tactical user research activities, including concept validation, interviews, surveys, and usability studies.

• Drive research efforts that influence the product roadmap, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define research objectives.

• Synthesize complex research findings into actionable insights and recommendations for product design and development.

• Mentor and guide junior researchers and designers, setting standards for research methodologies and documentation.

• Engage in iterative testing and evaluation of product features to refine user experience and ensure product-market fit.

• Advocate for a human-centered design process, integrating user research findings into the product development lifecycle.

• Craft and deliver presentations to communicate research findings and their impact on product strategy.

• Continuously evolve research practices to improve quality, efficiency, and impact on the product organization.

Requirements
• Expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methods suitable for various research questions and product stages.

• Proven experience leading end-to-end research studies from participant recruitment to delivering actionable insights.
,
• Strong experience in creating and utilizing user personas, journey maps, and empathy maps.
,
• Expertise in collaborating with cross-functional teams and embedding research into the product lifecycle.
,
• Strong analytical skills to translate user behaviors into impactful recommendations.
,
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills for engaging diverse audiences, including executives.

• Hands-on experience with Design Thinking, Human-Centered Design, and Jobs to Be Done frameworks.

• A portfolio or detailed case studies demonstrating research experience and impact.

Nice-to-haves
• 5 years of experience in UX research within an Enterprise SaaS environment, particularly in Human Capital Management or Recruiting.

• Demonstrated expertise in contextual inquiry, ethnographic studies, and large-scale surveys.

• A degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Anthropology, or equivalent experience.
