<p>We are a specialized cloud consulting firm supporting a key client in their data modernization journey. This client is a recognized leader in the cloud ecosystem, delivering tailored solutions across <strong>Data & AI, Cloud Native Development, Migrations through Modernization, and Managed Cloud Operations</strong>, with a strong presence in <strong>Azure and AWS environments</strong>.</p><p>To support a high-impact project, we are looking for a <strong>hands-on Azure Data Engineer</strong> to help design and implement scalable, reliable, and high-performance data architectures.</p><br><br><h4>1. <strong>Data Engineering Services</strong></h4><ul><li><p>Design and implement modern data architectures on <strong>Microsoft Azure</strong>, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.</p></li><li><p>Build and maintain <strong>end-to-end data pipelines</strong>, covering ingestion, transformation, and delivery to support business insights.</p></li><li><p>Leverage Azure-native tools such as <strong>Azure Data Factory</strong>, <strong>Azure Databricks</strong>, <strong>Azure Logic Apps</strong>, and <strong>Azure Functions</strong> for data orchestration and integration.</p></li><li><p>Develop data models to support analytical and operational use cases.</p></li><li><p>Optimize storage and data access for performance and cost-efficiency.</p></li><li><p>Ensure seamless integration of various data sources, maintaining <strong>data accuracy, consistency, and governance</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Proactively monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance issues and implement performance tuning strategies.</p></li></ul><h4>2. <strong>Documentation</strong></h4><ul><li><p>Document data flows, architecture decisions, and pipeline logic to support ongoing knowledge sharing.</p></li><li><p>Maintain data source mappings, movement patterns, and integration points to promote <strong>data quality and reuse</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Support stakeholders in exploring warehouse/reporting artifacts and understanding data lineage.</p></li></ul><h4>3. <strong>Data Support & Collaboration</strong></h4><ul><li><p>Work closely with <strong>data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders</strong> to understand data requirements and deliver precise solutions.</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with <strong>data privacy, governance, and security</strong> policies.</p></li><li><p>Evaluate and enhance <strong>master and reference data management</strong> strategies.</p></li><li><p>Support change management, archival, and recovery processes for critical data assets.</p></li><li><p>Tackle unforeseen issues quickly and effectively, minimizing downtime or data loss.<br></p></li></ul><h4><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></h4><p>Proven experience building data solutions on the <strong>Azure ecosystem</strong>.</p><p>Strong command of <strong>Azure Data Factory</strong>, <strong>Databricks</strong>, and related services.</p><p>Experience in designing <strong>scalable data models</strong> and integrating disparate data sources.</p><p>Solid understanding of <strong>data governance</strong>, compliance, and best practices.</p><p>Excellent communication skills in <strong>English</strong>, and a collaborative mindset to work across cross-functional teams.</p><p style="min-height: 1.7em;"></p><ol><li><p><strong>Location:</strong> Remote (Nearshore preferred)</p></li><li><p><strong>Engagement Type:</strong> Full-time contractor (40h/week)</p></li><li><p><strong>Duration:</strong> Initial 3-month contract (potential for extension)</p></li><li><p><strong>Start Date:</strong> ASAP</p></li></ol><h3></h3>
