About the position

The Senior Professional Liability and Cyber Underwriter at Zurich is a market-facing role responsible for underwriting and performing risk analysis across various professional liability and cyber insurance products. This position supports Zurich's growth initiatives and involves technical, transactional, and market-facing responsibilities, contributing to product development, marketing, and portfolio management.

Responsibilities
• Administer and monitor underwriting rules and guidelines, insurance laws and regulations, and rating manual rules.

• Develop and maintain relationships with external brokers and agency communities to meet production growth goals.
,
• Provide superior service to broker partners and customers.
,
• Identify and calculate potential risk of loss from policyholders while establishing appropriate premium rates.
,
• Manage a portfolio of accounts and develop a pipeline of business.
,
• Collaborate and cross-sell with other stakeholders and lines of business within Zurich.

Requirements
• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 3 or more years of experience in the Underwriting or Market Facing area, or 6 or more years in Claims or Underwriting Support.

• Zurich approved Apprenticeship program including an Associate Degree and 1 or more years of experience in Underwriting or Market Facing area, or 4 or more years in Claims or Underwriting Support.

• Knowledge of line/s of business and the legal and regulatory guidelines.
,
• Knowledge of time restraints for quotes on new and renewal business.
,
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
