Scope of Position:
The Therapist role is a great opportunity to provide community mental health services and clinical care services directly in the environment of the individuals served. Responsibilities shall include driving personal vehicle to the client’s preferred location that is most accessible for the client. Community settings may vary including home/residential, school and workplace environments. The Therapist shall be responsible to provide therapy, individual and group counseling and behavioral interventions including conducting assessments, developing/updating treatment plans and various tasks pertinent to case management.
Required Qualifications:
Masters degree in one of the behavioral or social sciences and at least two years post graduate school Mental Health/Developmental Disability/Substance Abuse experience with targeted population.
• Must be license eligible under the standards of the Georgia Professional Licensing Board for LPC, LMFT, LCSW as defined https://sos.ga.gov/#
Demonstrated experience in the management and delivery of mental health services including therapy, individual and group counseling and behavioral intervention required.
