About the position
The Manager of Clinical-Home Infusion at Kaiser Permanente is responsible for planning, directing, managing, and overseeing the clinical service delivery and business performance within the Home Infusion program. This role includes ensuring compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, licensure, and certification requirements while meeting the organization's goals and missions. The manager will supervise and manage a multidisciplinary team of clinical and support staff, both licensed and non-licensed, and has full supervisory authority over staff and associated budgets. The position is pivotal in delivering high-quality, reputable, and cost-effective clinical services that meet regulatory requirements. In this role, the manager will coordinate patient and staff schedules, provide advice to staff and patients, and direct the utilization of program resources. They will be responsible for hiring, orienting, training, developing, and supervising qualified Home Infusion staff, ensuring that the team is competent and capable of delivering quality care. The manager will also oversee budget development and process monitoring to ensure cost-effective care delivery. The manager will plan, organize, direct, and evaluate Home Infusion clinical service delivery to continuously improve the quality and coordination of care provided to patients and families. They will collaborate with various stakeholders, including the Director of Home Health and Home Infusion, to ensure the delivery of quality homecare. Additionally, the manager will serve as a clinical expert for Infusion and Vascular Access practices, facilitating the Regional Infusion Therapy Steering Committee and participating in community relations activities to enhance the organization's image and reputation.
Responsibilities
• Manage the delivery of quality clinical services consistent with agency policy and applicable regulations.

• Hire, orient, train, develop, and supervise Home Infusion staff.

• Ensure cost-effective care through budget development and oversight.

• Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate Home Infusion clinical service delivery.

• Collaborate with the Director of Home Health and Home Infusion to assure quality homecare delivery.

• Supervise staff and manage the Home enteral and TPN Dietitian program.

• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with peers and stakeholders.

• Assure ongoing professional development for self and staff.

• Serve as the clinical expert for Infusion and Vascular Access practices.

• Participate in community relations activities to enhance the organization's reputation.
Requirements
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in critical care, oncology, chronic disease management, pain management, or home health care.

• Minimum three (3) years of management experience in a leadership role.
,
• Minimum three (3) years of progressive nursing leadership experience in the last five (5) years.
,
• Bachelor's degree or higher in nursing.
,
• Registered Nurse License (Washington) within 6 months of hire OR Compact License: Registered Nurse within 6 months of hire.
,
• Registered Nurse License (Oregon) within 6 months of hire.
,
• Drivers License (in location where applicable).
,
• Basic Life Support certification.
