The position of Staff Services Analyst (SSA) is situated within the Customer Education and Outreach Division (CEOD) at the Orange Regional Office. This role serves as the first point of contact for both active and retired members of CalPERS, providing essential guidance on program benefits and services. The SSA will be responsible for conducting presentations, meeting with customers individually to discuss retirement and health benefits, and applying relevant laws and policies, including the Public Employee Retirement Law (PERL) and the Public Employee's Medical and Hospital Care Act (PEMHCA). The role requires a strong understanding of new legislation and policy initiatives to effectively address customer inquiries. This position offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing for up to two days of remote work and three or more days onsite each week. Responsibilities

Requirements
• Experience in customer service or a related field.
