About the position
As a Manager of Employee Relations at Disney, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the employee experience by engaging with both leaders and employees during significant moments in the employment lifecycle. This includes addressing workplace accommodations, concerns, and performance management. You will be responsible for crafting and implementing strategies that align with company policies and culture, while also collaborating with various partners to promote employee engagement and success.
Responsibilities
- Conduct timely, objective, and detailed internal investigations regarding allegations of harassment, discrimination, and retaliation. ,
- Maintain accurate records of investigations and document findings in the Department's case management system. ,
- Develop and implement tools and resources to enhance the employee experience. ,
- Promote understanding and compliance with company policies through coaching and training. ,
- Analyze employee relations data to identify trends and root causes, sharing findings with key partners. ,
- Advocate for employees by connecting with leadership across the organization. ,
- Collaborate on performance and organizational change solutions. ,
- Lead project work as needed.
Requirements
- 3+ years of influential leadership experience or in a professional-level role. ,
- Strong critical thinking skills and a strong work ethic. ,
- Ability to analyze data and identify root causes of issues. ,
- Experience in consulting and delivering diversity recommendations. ,
- Strong conflict resolution and presentation skills. ,
- Broad knowledge of employee relations and relevant federal and state laws.
Nice-to-haves
- Bilingual Spanish speaking/writing ,
- Experience in administering Collective Bargaining Agreements.
