If you live in any state not listed here, you will need to relocate to one of these states or close to the HQ in Bethlehem, PADepartment: BasketballReports to: Operations Analyst Position OverviewSIS is looking for highly motivated individuals with a desire to work in the basketball industry. Data Scouts will have a chance to make an immediate impression on the company. Each Data Scout will be collecting data that is directly used by SIS clients for advance scouting and evaluation purposes. This position requires very high attention to detail.We take pride in making the position a great development opportunity for those looking to get their start in the basketball industry. In addition to gaining invaluable experience watching multiple games a week, we offer introductory classes using the database management language, SQL. We also provide insight and advice from previous SIS Data Scouts who have branched out into a variety of areas in the sports industry.<ul><li style="list-style-type:disc;">This role is considered remote.</li></ul>Job ResponsibilitiesIncludes (but is not limited to):<ul><li style="list-style-type:disc;">Chart and evaluate NBA basketball games using specialized computer software</li><li style="list-style-type:disc;">Review the accuracy and validity of data</li><li style="list-style-type:disc;">Prepare and analyze game film for delivery to customers</li><li style="list-style-type:disc;">Assist with additional projects as instructed by full-time staff</li><li style="list-style-type:disc;">Provide administrative support to the full-time staff</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li style="list-style-type:disc;">Demonstrated knowledge of NBA rules</li><li style="list-style-type:disc;">Ability to identify and differentiate between players</li><li style="list-style-type:disc;">Computer proficiency and the ability to learn new software</li><li style="list-style-type:disc;">High attention to detail</li><li style="list-style-type:disc;">Basketball coaching or scouting experience is preferred but not necessary</li><li style="list-style-type:disc;">Must be able to work holidays and deliver work in a timely manner</li></ul> Time Frame:<ul><li style="list-style-type:disc;">The position begins on Wednesday October 1st, 2025.
