About the position
The Associate, Member Ops Billing position at MVP Health Care is focused on providing exceptional customer service and support in billing and payment processing. This role involves working collaboratively with various internal departments to ensure accurate billing and payment allocation for MVP customers, contributing to the overall mission of enhancing healthcare delivery.
Responsibilities
• Completing the team's daily workload including billing and payment related transaction processing, reconciliation, and research for all assigned accounts.

• Working closely with multiple internal departments to provide excellence in servicing all MVP customers, including member direct bill and employer group accounts.
,
• Interacting directly with MVP customers to ensure correct billing, payment allocation, and collection activity.
,
• Accurately processing reconciliations and/or payment transactions daily, maintaining weekly and monthly Excel spreadsheets, working various reports, multi-tasking projects, and completing incoming customer requests within the department.
,
• Collaborating as a team player or working independently as required.
,
• Determining discrepancy root causes and recommending solutions.
,
• Meeting departmental quality control standards and deadlines.
,
• Performing other duties as assigned to enhance healthcare delivery.
Requirements
• An associate's degree in a business/accounting/math related area preferred, but not required.

• Two years of experience in customer service, accounts receivable, or other related industries.
,
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
,
• Excellent computer experience including Microsoft Excel and Word.
