The Administrative Assistant Senior Representative at Cigna is responsible for providing high-level administrative support to the Market Growth Leader and the local market leadership team. This role involves a variety of tasks including calendar management, expense reporting, and the preparation of complex meeting materials and presentations. The position requires a proactive approach, utilizing initiative and judgment to make decisions while adhering to company policies and procedures. The role is hybrid, requiring three days a week in the office and the remaining time working from home, which necessitates a reliable internet connection with specified speeds. In addition to standard administrative duties, the position includes planning and coordinating large events, meetings, and conferences, as well as managing inquiries and complaints. The Administrative Assistant will also be involved in budget preparation, scheduling, and tracking information, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. The ability to communicate professionally and collaborate with internal partners, brokers, and clients is essential, as is the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. The role also encompasses supporting local community and civic affairs events, assisting with event planning and management, and performing various office management tasks such as supply ordering and facility oversight. Responsibilities
• Provides executive administrative services for Market Growth Leader and local market leadership team, including calendar management and expense reporting.

• Produces and updates presentations and other materials, including editing in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

• Performs meeting and event support, such as preparing meeting materials and notes, ensuring appropriate space set up and clean up, catering management, and any other projects as needed.
,
• Supports local community and civic affairs events, assisting with event planning, management, and breakdown.
,
• Assists with various projects within a high traffic sales office, including office initiatives, mail and office supply management, and facility oversight.
,
• Orders all office supplies and promotional items and maintains the budget for management monthly and year-end.
,
• Assists with printing requests, including printing, binding, and shipping materials.
,
• May support segment-level administrative services projects in partnership with other local offices.
,
• Communicates professionally and collaborates with internal matrix partners, brokers, and clients.
,
• Backs up other administrative professionals when needed.
,
• Performs additional responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
• Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant, with demonstrated ability to support senior leaders, preferred.

• Previous experience with office or facility management preferred.
,
• Strong computer-based technical skills including Outlook, Word and internet/web navigation, strong knowledge base of Microsoft Excel, preferred.

• Health insurance background with general understanding of the overall sales process and knowledge of Salesforce.com.

• Strong written & verbal communication skills.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Detail-oriented with exceptional follow-up skills.
