Heartland Dental is the nation's largest dental support organization, providing non-clinical administrative support services to more than 3,000 supported doctors across 39 states and the District of Columbia in over 1,800 dental offices. The Locum Tenens Doctor Recruiter will support their internal client base by serving as a strategic and collaborative partner with stakeholders across the organization. As an experienced recruiter, this key business partner will drive the doctor temporary staffing recruitment efforts across all regions for the organization. The Locum Tenens Recruiter is a remote opportunity with some travel involved. This position works with another Locum Tenens Recruiter to cover all temporary doctor needs for the organization, partnering with agencies and internal stakeholders to fill temp openings. This person reports to a Manager, Doctor Recruiting and works on a team of three.

Responsibilities
• Serve as the dedicated locum recruiter for assigned regions, providing regular and timely client updates.

• Generate Locum Tenens Providers through various recruitment channels; proactively identifying and recruiting qualified Doctors for our supported dental offices via phone screens, interviews and contract negotiations.

• Build effective partnerships with field operations, agencies, and supported doctor candidates.

• Travel to support departmental meetings, staffing agency meetings, and presenting at industry or school events as needed.

Requirements
• Minimum 1 year experience working as a locum tenens recruiter, ideally for physicians/dentists.

• Experience utilizing an applicant tracking system (ATS) to manage the recruitment process.

• Must be flexible for travel (day and overnight) up to 10%.

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
