About the position

The position involves driving incident and problem resolution for various lines of business, ensuring end-to-end resolution within defined objectives. The role requires troubleshooting production issues, coordinating with teams for remediation, and engaging with application development teams and senior management for root cause analysis and remediation actions. The individual will also facilitate high availability, disaster recovery, and continuous process improvement while monitoring production activities and ensuring effective communication of problems to stakeholders.

Responsibilities
• Drive incident and problem resolution for aligned lines of business (LOB).
,
• Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with teams for remediation.
,
• Engage with application development teams and senior management on root cause analysis (RCA).
,
• Facilitate logging, monitoring, intelligent alerting, and self-healing.
,
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and sustained resiliency.
,
• Monitor day-to-day issues and perform daily health checks of applications.
,
• Communicate problems effectively to internal and external clients and technical resources.
,
• Implement continuous process improvement in policies and procedures.
,
• Identify and implement initiatives that create efficiencies in technical processing.
,
• Evaluate risks and solutions before taking action.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Application Support, IT Consultant, or related occupation.
,
• Alternatively, a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Application Support, IT Consultant, or related occupation.

• Experience in Production Support and Engineering.
,
• Experience with Public Cloud-based applications including AWS.
,
• Proficient in monitoring and operating Grafana, Elastic Search, and Kibana.
,
• Familiarity with observability tools including Splunk and Dynatrace.
,
• Experience in Disaster Recovery planning and test execution.
,
• Experience supporting mission-critical platforms in the financial services industry.

Nice-to-haves
• Experience in Digital banking and Wealth management.

• Knowledge of application monitoring in terms of SLAs, SLIs, and SLOs.

• Experience in automation for reliability improvement.
