Remote Healthcare UW's for Insurance provider - 4 month project<br><br><strong>What You'll Do<br><br></strong><ul><li>Evaluate applications and supporting documents to assess risk and determine eligibility for coverage. </li><li>Make underwriting decisions based on established guidelines, pricing strategies, and risk appetite. </li><li>Collaborate with senior underwriters to review complex cases or escalate exceptions. </li><li>Ensure accurate documentation and input of underwriting decisions into internal systems. </li><li>Assist with identifying trends or patterns in underwriting outcomes and contribute ideas for process improvements. </li><li>Work cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g., sales, claims, operations) to support a consistent and efficient customer experience. <br><br></li></ul><strong>What You'll Bring<br><br></strong><ul><li>2+ years of underwriting experience (insurance underwriting required) </li><li>Bachelor’s degree required </li><li>Strong attention to detail with solid analytical and problem-solving skills </li><li>Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal </li><li>Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment </li><li>Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and eagerness to learn </li><li>Basic understanding of insurance products and underwriting principles </li><li>Ability to adapt to changing priorities and balance multiple tasks effectively</li></ul>
