Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the recruitment process, including scheduling interviews, managing candidate communications, and preparing necessary documentation.
  • Support the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring smooth transitions into their roles.
  • Manage HR records, ensuring data is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with legal requirements.
  • Coordinate HR activities such as training, employee engagement initiatives, and performance evaluations.
  • Assist in payroll and benefits administration, ensuring accurate processing of employee data.
  • Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies, processes, and benefits.
  • Support the HR team in the development and implementation of various HR strategies and programs.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies, maintaining the highest level of confidentiality.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior HR leaders, offering insights into HR metrics and performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (1-3 years) in an HR assistant or administrative role.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with HR software and systems (e.g., HRIS, Applicant Tracking Systems).
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive attitude.
  • Understanding of HR best practices and labor laws is a plus.

Experience

  • 1-3 years of experience in an administrative or HR role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with recruitment, payroll processing, and employee record management is highly desirable.
  • Previous exposure to HR software and reporting tools is an asset.

Working Hours

  • Full-time position.
  • Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
  • Flexibility for remote work or hybrid arrangements available based on team needs.
