Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT) to join our orthopedic team. This individual will perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures, ensure patient safety and comfort, and collaborate with clinical staff to support accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures in accordance with physician orders and standard protocols.
• Ensure proper patient positioning, shielding, and comfort during imaging.
• Operate radiologic equipment, adjusting settings to optimize exposure and image quality.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within the EMR/PACS system.
• Adhere to all regulatory, compliance, and radiation safety standards.
• Prepare and maintain radiographic equipment; promptly report maintenance needs.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and sterile exam environment.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients regarding procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to support patient care coordination.

Qualifications

• Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification or NCT certification required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of orthopedic X-ray experience required.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Work Environment

• Clinical or outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Must be able to lift and assist patients as needed.
• Prolonged periods of standing and walking required.
• Occasional travel required

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
