Data Analyst

<b>Description</b><br><p>We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to support our Command and Control (C2) system. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing and visualizing real-time and historical data from a variety of sensors (e.g., radars, PTZ cameras, drones) to support decision-making, system optimization, and customer reporting.This role involves working with large, mission-critical datasets stored in PostgreSQL, and presenting key insights through interactive dashboards, reports, and visual overlays.</p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><p> • Analyze operational and sensor data from the Command &amp; Control system stored in PostgreSQL databases.</p><p> • Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations to support operational monitoring, performance analysis, and incident review.</p><p> • Work closely with product managers, system engineers, and field teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.</p><p> • Design data models, aggregate queries, and optimize SQL performance for analytical use.</p><p> • Automate recurring reports and visualization processes to support ongoing operations and customer requirements.</p><p> • Identify data quality issues and collaborate with engineering teams to improve data accuracy and consistency.</p><p> • Support integration of geospatial and time-series visualizations (e.g., field-of-view overlays, heatmaps, movement tracks).</p><p> • Assist in interpreting system usage metrics to inform product development and system tuning.</p><br> <b>Requirements</b><br><p>Requirements:</p><p> • Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in defense, security, or real-time systems environments.</p><p> • Strong SQL skills with experience querying and managing data in PostgreSQL.</p><p> • Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Grafana, Power BI, or custom dashboards using Python/JavaScript).</p><p> • Experience working with geospatial data (PostGIS, GeoJSON, or similar) is a strong advantage.</p><p> • Familiarity with time-series analysis and visual representation of streaming data.</p><p> • Solid understanding of data structures, ETL processes, and data validation techniques.</p><p> • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex data into clear insights.</p><p> • Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially with technical and field teams.</p><br>
