About the position
We are excited to bring on a Retirement Consultant within Retirement Plan Services to join the national team in the TX/NM Area. In this role, you will deliver retirement planning, education, and world-class service to complex retirement plan sponsors and participants. This includes growing plan participation, increasing average deferral rates, asset gathering, and servicing of employees. You will play a vital role in the growth, retention, and overall satisfaction of clients that you are tasked with servicing. Our goal is enabling our clients to achieve the retirement they envision. As a Retirement Consultant, you will conduct in-person and/or virtual meetings with Plan Sponsors and Participants to achieve assigned goals and metrics. You will be responsible for meeting or exceeding established goals by increasing retirement plan participation, deferral rates, and average account balance, leading to better participant outcomes and increased revenue and market share with your assigned Plan Sponsor/Participant book of business. Developing a comprehensive understanding of existing and targeted Plan Sponsors and Participants, including targeted market segments and their operations, will be crucial to your success. Additionally, you will support Relationship Management with retention efforts and look for opportunities to promote other Lincoln services while cross-partnering with appropriate internal stakeholders. You will also support regional RC Directors by taking on additional responsibilities to support regional objectives and RPS goals. This position is designed for someone who is passionate about helping clients navigate their retirement planning needs and is eager to contribute to the overall success of the team.
Responsibilities
• Conduct in-person and/or virtual meetings with Plan Sponsor/Participants to achieve assigned goals and metrics

• Meet or exceed established goals by increasing retirement plan participation, deferral rates, and average account balance

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of existing/targeted Plan Sponsor/Participants including targeted market segments and their operations

• Support Relationship Management with retention efforts and promote other Lincoln services

• Support regional RC Directors by taking on additional responsibilities to support regional objectives and RPS goals
Requirements
• 1 - 3+ Years' experience in Retirement Plans that aligns with the specific responsibilities
,
• Lives in TX or NM area with the ability to travel up to 75% regionally and nationally
,
• 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's)
,
• FINRA SIE, S6, and S63 within 90 days of hire (pre-registration preferred)
,
• Life & Health within 90 days of hire (pre-licensed preferred)
