<p>Job Title: <strong>Content Editor and Graphic Designer</strong></p><p>Location: Remote</p><p>Reports To: Co-owner</p><p>Work Shift: Starting with Partial overlap with Mountain Time (Denver, CO), then on a flexible schedule once trained</p><p>Working Hours: 40 hours per week / Full-time&nbsp;<br></p><p><strong>Job Description:</strong><br><br>We’re looking for a dedicated Graphic Designer and Video Editor with strong Adobe Creative Suite skills and a creative eye for detail, especially in interior design relevant to the U.S. market. You’ll work closely with our co-owner (an interior designer), in-house photographer, and creative director to:<br></p><ul> <li>Turn raw product photography into polished e-commerce images</li> <li>Composite real photography with AI-generated interior architectural environments</li> <li>Composite real photography on licensed free stock imagery</li> <li>Create beautiful, branded assets for email, social media, web, print, and packaging</li> <li>Edit raw video footage from studio and iPhone content for social media and advertising; light motion graphics are a bonus</li> <li>Manage the entire flow of visual file assets, including naming, organizing, and coordinating with the Path Edits vendor to maintain a clean file structure for the team to use</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><h3>AI-Driven Lifestyle Imagery</h3><ul> <li>Use AI tools like Midjourney (or similar) to generate architectural and interior background environments based on prompts and direction from our creative team and co-owner interior designer</li> <ul> <li>Seamlessly blend AI-generated elements with real in-studio photography using Photoshop</li> <li>Maintain realism through lighting, shadows, and scale</li> <li>Build out scene libraries and reusable visual templates for future collections</li> </ul> </ul><h3>Graphic Design</h3><ul> <li>Create web banners, social content, and occasional print and packaging collateral</li> <li>Repurpose existing assets for new campaigns and seasonal launches</li> <li>Ensure all creative stays on-brand and on-spec across platforms, matching the brand aesthetic set by the co-owner interior designer</li> <li>Background removal of isolated product images or managing workflow via pathedits.com with vendor coordination</li> </ul><h3>Video Editing</h3><ul> <li>Edit occasional video footage with light motion graphics when needed, primarily from raw studio and iPhone content</li> <li>Manage outsourcing for more complex motion graphics</li> <ul><li>Video Deliverables</li></ul> </ul><ul> <li>Advertising videos</li> <li>DIY / Tutorial / Product demonstration videos</li> </ul><h3>File &amp; Asset Management</h3><ul> <li>Manage, submit, name, and organize photos for background removal</li> <li>Review, edit, and deliver isolated product images and final lifestyle composites in standardized crop ratios</li> <li>Save multiple versions of each asset across structured folders:</li> <ul> <li>Product-level folders (by SKU or style)</li> <li>Swipe folders for PPC, SEO, and social teams</li> </ul> <li>Update Notion (our creative Project Management System) with Google file links, thumbnails, and tags</li> <li>Apply naming conventions based on company guidelines</li> <li>Coordinate closely with the Path Edits vendor for background removal and image edits</li> <li>Keep Google Drive clean, logical, and accessible for future creative teammates</li> <li>Act as the air traffic controller of everything visual — ensuring nothing gets lost, forgotten, or mislabeled</li> </ul><h3>Tools We Use:</h3><ul> <li>Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, etc.)</li> <li>AI: Midjourney, ChatGPT, Gemini, and experimenting with others</li> <li>Stock image sources like Unsplash or similar</li> <li>Path Edits vendor for background removal and edits</li> <li>Google Drive (core for file flow and storage)</li> <li>Notion (used to track content status and assignments)</li> <li>Slack (for communication and feedback)<br> </li> </ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul> <li>Creative eye and feel for current interior design, with a focus on U.S. market relevance</li> <li>Strong portfolio of Photoshop-based work, especially compositing and product image editing</li> <li>Demonstrated experience or comfort learning AI image generation tools like Midjourney</li> <li>Meticulous attention to file management, naming conventions, and delivery formatting</li> <li>Good written and verbal English communication skills</li> <li>Comfortable with receiving creative direction and working asynchronously with a U.S.-based team</li> <li>Ability to coordinate with vendors such as Path Edits for background removal and retouching</li> </ul><p><strong>Nice to Have (but not required):</strong></p><ul> <li>Advanced motion graphics or animation</li> <li>Experience working in eCommerce or with physical products</li> <li>Background or interest in architecture or interior design</li> </ul>
