Who we are:
Mini Musicians Studio is an online music school helping kids fall in love with learning guitar—through songs they actually love, character-building feedback, and a supportive studio community. We work with families across North America, offering high-quality online lessons that prioritize fun, confidence, and connection.
What we’re looking for:
We are in search of a new instructor who teaches primarily guitar, but can also serve voice and ukulele students. You will teach weekly private and small group lessons for kids ages 8–12.
Our ideal candidate has the following skills & abilities:
• An undergraduate degree from a leading music institution (must be within 6 months of graduation or have graduated already)
• Previous teaching experience with young students in private and group settings
• Has an upbeat, energetic, engaging, and fun-focused teaching style
• Positive, can-do attitude, self-starter, high-energy personality
• Strong leadership & communication skills
Responsibilities would include...
• Planning and teaching engaging private and group music lessons (guitar, voice, and/or ukulele) for kids ages 8–12 via Zoom
• Using a mix of MMS curriculum and your own creative approaches to support skill-building and confidence
• Communicating clearly and professionally with families to provide updates, encouragement, and support
• Monitoring and responding to messages across email, Slack, and/or studio platforms daily
• Managing your teaching schedule reliably, including communicating any changes in availability
• Preparing students for optional showcases and participating in studio-wide events when needed
• Collaborating with studio leadership and contributing ideas for improving the student experience
