About the position

As a Senior Compensation Business Partner at Sephora, you will play a pivotal role in the Total Rewards division, which serves as an in-house center of expertise for compensation strategies and programs. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement competitive compensation solutions that align with Sephora's business objectives, ensuring that the company attracts and retains top talent. This role requires a high level of business acumen and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. You will collaborate closely with the People Team to translate compensation philosophies into actionable strategies, fostering trusted partnerships across various business units. In this position, you will engage in comprehensive analysis and data modeling, performing job evaluations and benchmarking to maintain competitive and equitable compensation programs. Your analytical skills will be essential in distilling complex data into clear and insightful presentations for stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making. Additionally, you will take an active role in educating internal partners and employees about compensation programs, enhancing their understanding and facilitating meaningful conversations around compensation. Project management will also be a key aspect of your role, as you will lead significant compensation projects that impact various business units. Your ability to communicate effectively and create impactful materials will be crucial in promoting the value of compensation programs within the organization. Responsibilities
• Collaborate closely with the People Team to develop effective solutions for compensation challenges and translate compensation philosophies into actionable strategies for business units.

• Perform job evaluations, benchmarking, and comprehensive market analysis to ensure our compensation programs remain competitive and equitable.

• Distill and present complex analysis in a clear, concise, and insightful manner to partners and stakeholders to enable informed decision-making.
,
• Create and distribute clear and impactful communication materials that enhance understanding and highlight the value of our compensation programs.
,
• Educate internal people partners, business units, and employees to enable objective decision-making and facilitate meaningful compensation conversations.

• Lead compensation projects of significant impact for business units.

Requirements
• 6+ years of experience as a Compensation Analyst, People Data Analyst, or in a Business Partnership role.
,
• 3-5 years of experience modeling and presenting data.
,
• 3-5 years of experience consulting with business partners to provide compensation solutions.
,
• 2+ years of experience developing effective trainings, presentations, and communication plans for compensation programs or other people programs.
,
• Exceptional teamwork skills.
,
• Strong business acumen with an understanding of business strategy and its impact on Total Rewards.
,
• Ability to understand industry and market trends.
,
• Data visualization experience is a plus.
,
• Ability to work at the SF HQ office 2-3 days a week.
