Lead, Warehouse Technician

About the position

Responsibilities

• Process orders and prepare items for shipment.
• Receive and open merchandise shipments, processing packing slips or invoices.
• Clean and disinfect returned equipment and maintain cleanliness of the warehouse.
• Perform data entry and update shipping information.
• Prepare shipping containers and create labels in advance.
• Verify contents of outgoing packages against invoices or bills of lading.
• Assist in stocking, tracking, and replenishing inventory.
• Communicate stock shortages or outages to the Warehouse Manager.
• Assume on-call responsibilities during non-business hours.
• Monitor expiration dates of supplies and manage inventory accordingly.
• Lead special projects and delegate responsibilities to others.
• Mentor and train new employees.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalency.
• Three (3) years of experience in construction, general manual labor, military and equipment repair, or maintenance.
