Strong communication skills and proficiency with computer software are essential.Required QualificationsAbility to prepare layouts and pre-press production for various publications and projects, including slide presentations, newsletters, signs, flyers, brochures, maps, posters, logos, exhibits, and illustrations.Knowledge of graphic design principles, communication theory, marketing, and promotional concepts, demonstrated through a portfolio.Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat Pro.Knowledge of website design, photography, printmaking, CMS, and media.Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite or Office 365.Understanding of copyright laws related to creative properties.Strong command of English grammar, punctuation, and spelling.Ability to handle multiple priorities and organize, plan, and develop marketing materials.Effective communication skills to interpret stakeholder needs into visual formats.Commitment to an inclusive work environment supporting diversity among colleagues and constituents.Conditions of EmploymentAbility to pass a background checkPreferred QualificationsExperience in higher education settingsExperience working within a brand bookKnowledge of style guides and policy applicationExperience with marketing and communication campaignsAbility to independently apply policies where guidelines are lackingApplication RequirementsSubmit a Resume, Cover Letter, and Professional Portfolio.
